Using Fashion Week As Inspirations

As London fashion week drew to a close recently, it was a clear sign that we all needed to ditch the wintery styles and welcome in some spring and summer pieces for the coming months. For the time being we can live without that extra layering and enjoy the freedom of wearing a little less clothing, until next winter comes around that is. The recent fashion weeks from Paris, London and New York have all showcased some fantastic items for the coming season for us to wear. But of course we cannot all wear the latest designer looks from the catwalks. So how do we get the same look but on a tighter budget?

Well firstly, looking at what was worn by models at the recent shows is a starting point. Study the styles and trends used and rifle through images from the catwalks, and then make a note of all the looks you came across. Most likely you will find that there was a variety of styles shown in different ways. Next thing to do is to use what you have found out and turn them it into a great look for you. Browse your local high street or online fashion stores for pieces incorporating the looks that have been seen at the shows. You could even try looking at images of celebrities and see if any are wearing the trends from the catwalks, many famous faces wear affordable clothing these days.

Fashion blogs are also great sources of fashion inspiration. Many bloggers will attend the shoes and write about what they saw and give their take on the trends that are on display. You will find a lot of bloggers will then pick out clothing from obtainable brands and stores which will allow you to get the same look using similar trends from the catwalks. Once trends and outfits are shown at fashion shows, you will find many look alike versions available in high street stores and online, so you can create the same kind of look.

Looking at the latest fashion shows and taking inspiration from the trends on show is a great way to get ahead in the style stakes and look on trend for the coming season. Designer collections such as the latest Melissa shoes have already updated their ranges for the spring and summer months as well as other high end labels who are currently displaying their looks for the warmer weather.
